The SEIKO KINETIC ARCTURA was released in May 1998.
Designed by the legendary watch designer Jörg Hysek, formerly of Rolex,
it features a streamlined form that was unlike anything Seiko had offered before.
The case is a combination of brushed stainless steel and plastic.
The domed crystal uses Hardlex, a proprietary mineral glass developed by Seiko with a hardened treatment.
This watch features a Kinetic movement, where the internal rotor rotates with arm movement, charging a capacitor (rechargeable battery) to power the watch.
Pulling the crown out two clicks allows for time adjustment, and one click allows for date adjustment.
Pressing the button above the crown moves the second hand, allowing you to check the remaining charge.
It is also featured on this blog.
SIZE
Lug 50mm, Width 36mm (excluding the crown protrusion)
*This is an unused deadstock item with a new capacitor installed (performed on June 1, 2026).
The case back gasket is an genuine part, installed with an appropriate amount of silicone applied.
