This WWII-era model is based on the L Company 31 coverall jacket made in the late 1930s to early 1940s.
The material is brown duck.
This piece, said to have extremely few surviving examples, has been faithfully reproduced with a DURA-BILT name tag.
It features mysterious details such as two asymmetrical pockets in unique positions, the omission of top buttons, and the
strange split design on the inside of the cuffs.
The two-prong iron buttons are hand-painted black, with the undercoat showing through due to age.
It is also featured on this blog.
