The first SEIKO KINETIC ARCTURA, released in 1997.

This is the same watch displayed at the Ginza SEIKO Museum.

Designed by Jorg Hysek, a legendary watch designer formerly of Rolex,

it features a futuristic, streamlined form.

The case is made of stainless steel with a hairline and mirror finish.

This particular piece appears to have been gifted in 1998, as the donor's name is engraved on the case back.

I attached a BAMBI company stretch band.

The case has minor scratches, but it is in good condition for a watch that is about 30 years old.

The glass crystal has been replaced with a new one.

This is a Kinetic watch where the internal rotor rotates with arm movement, charging the capacitor (rechargeable battery),

which then powers the watch.

Pulling the crown out two clicks allows for time adjustment, and one click allows for date adjustment.

Pressing the button above the crown moves the second hand, allowing you to check the remaining charge.

It is also featured in this blog post.

SIZE

Length 43.1mm, Width 35mm (excluding the crown protrusion)
