A faithful reproduction of a 1940s-era Gordon set-in double-V, freedom-sleeve sweatshirt.
Made by a Tokyo-based knitwear sewing factory that specializes in sweatshirts and cut-and-sew garments using vintage sewing machines.
The thick fabric produced on old-style loopwheel machines is brushed using a restored 100-year-old American-style brushing machine. (The selvedge of the brushed finish is clearly visible.)
It features a soft, plush texture while maintaining the firmness of the fabric.
Based on the original silhouette, the length has been slightly extended to make it a piece of "real clothes" that is easy to wear while retaining a vintage feel.
